Learn Everything About Design
www.LearnEverythingAboutDesign.com is a website we developed to provide affordable course offerings in Fusion 360 Design. We don’t operate on a subscription, everything is free or single purchase but you have access to it as long as the website is online. We will be updating content and providing complete courses and course bundles in all areas of Fusion 360.
YouTube
Our YouTube Channel has hundreds of videos focusing on advanced workflows in Fusion 360 as well as Blender, Plasticity, and Programming with Python and Arduino. We tackle a lot of user questions in the form of videos and are covering many topics from 3D Scanning, to Car Design and more. www.Youtube.com/c/learneverythingaboutdesign
Coursera
I have authored several course series on Coursera (and Udemy) in 2017 and 2018. The content is a bit out of date but I believe can be audited for free.
CAD Design and Digital Manufacturing
CAD Design and Digital Manufacturing is a 8hr/week course over a 3month duration walking through the entire design, creation and testing of a 3D printed rescue drone. Follow along and learn the tips and techniques needed to design, build and fly your own drone.
Generative Design for Manufacturing
Generative Design for Manufacturing is a 16 week course using Generative Design in Fusion 360 to create unique and optimized designs. Follow along as we tackle common design tasks such as lightweighting, performance, part consolidation and design for manufacture all using Fusion 360.
CAD/CAM for Manufacturing is a Fusion 360 course to help train users in the modeling and CAM programming required in today’s job market. This course explores 2d toolpath creation, CNC Lathe all the way to 3+2 and Simultaneous multi-axis milling.
Mechanical Engineering course series focuses on the design and validation of mechanical components with Fusion 360. It is roughly 10hrs a week for a month to get through and at the end you will have a firm grasp around CAD and CAE for mechanical components.
Pluralsight
I have authored 22 courses with Pluralsight including 10 Fusion 360 specific courses. Courses range from Fusion 360 for Inventor Users, Biomedical Design, and Surfacing. These are a bit older but they are still online. Here you can find the list of courses https://www.pluralsight.com/authors/matthew-perez
Hi Matt,
I am a new user of Fusion 360. I am in the process of trying to design a cup for a neighbor who has artheritis in her fingers. One of my friends in the Sisters Area Woodworkers Guild has a 3D printer and is willing to printout the drawing. I would like to insert some grooves in the cup to prevent slippage when holding the cup in your hand. Also can you recommend a food safe plastic that will work with a 3D printer? How do I go about sharing the drawing with you for comment and suggestions?
Thank You Chris Frazeur
Hi Matt,
I love what you are doing! I recently left a career of 32+ years in R&D to give back by teaching engineering design and digital manufacturing at Oak Ridge High School and am leveraging your amazing content heavily.
I’d planned to use your Airgineers Drone content starting next week but when I went to the URL I used this summer (https://academy.autodesk.com/curriculum/airgineers-micro-drone) it was no longer available …. Is it anywhere to be found? My students were pumped to do this project.
Is there any way you might share the old instructional materials? If not I’m going to have some very disappointed students (and one teacher).
Thanks again for all you do!

Hello,
I like your YouTube videos about Fusion plastic parts. I’m UX designer in Autodesk and I have been working on the plastic parts features and another projects. Would you like to see what we are working and planning as next steps? Please contact me if you are interested.
Your Youtube content is exceptional. Breath of fresh air mate. Great stuff.
Just made me think of ‘Purple Cow’. Book by Seth Godin. Marketing. In summary, he makes the point that a quality product or service sells itself. It wants to be spoken of, and people want to spread the word. I think you’ve done that.
Cheers,
John.
Hello, I’m Lucca, from a school in Vienna, Austria using Fusion 360. I am building a robotic hand from scratch and will 3D print it in school. I am currently watching all of your videos of form, and I was wondering what else I should be watching (I started using Fusion 360 1 month ago). Which videos you recommended, and what techniques or tools should I use in Fusion 360? Do you have any other recommendations for building a robotic hand or more in general projects like this?
Thank you so much
From Lucca
Hello Matthew Perez I saw your videos on the Ducati I would like to know where I can find complete tutorials on the entire design of an engine to train have you done any tutorials on it? where can we find this on fusion 360 books?
